Multi Style Yoga Teacher Training
Our multi-style TTC course offers the perfect way to broaden your practice by studying both Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. Explore which type of yoga resonates most with your natural teaching style, and experience how the different practices work in harmony with your mind and body.
Hatha Yoga is the physical practice of Yoga that encourages work with posture, breath, and cleansing practices to prepare the body for meditation. A Hatha Yoga class includes a variety of non strenuous asanas that are held for an extended period of time whilst practicing deep breathing techniques.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yogadesigned to purify and strengthen the body in preparation for meditation. The fundamental aspects of Ashtanga Vinyasainclude focus on movement in harmony with the breath, activation of bandhas (engagement of energy ‘locks’ within the body) and drishti (eye gazing point).
This course focuses on the Primary Series, which works to heal, align and detoxify the body and to build a foundational level of strength and flexibility in preparation for the following sequences in the Ashtanga system.
200 hour TTC
Combine dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa with a more gentle Hatha practice to create a perfect balance on the Jivan Chakra multi-style teacher training course.
Our Teacher Training approaches yoga traditionally as described in the ancient text the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. A holistic approach is fully emphasised, giving attention to asana, kriyas (cleansing practices), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, philosophy, and alignment and adjustment. You will practice and experience the physical and spiritual teachings of this ancient system of Yoga with emphasis on awareness, breath, and ways in which to bring this practice and philosophy into your daily life.
The 200 hour Multi Style Teacher training course includes the practice and study of a variety of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Primary Series as well as a variety of traditional Hatha Yoga poses. It is said that the best way to teach is from your own experience, and this course will give you a true understanding of how each of these two systems of yoga impacts upon your mind, body and spirit. The Jivan Chakra 200 hour multi-style teacher training course prepares participants with the tools and confidence necessary to teach and inspire their own students. Participants will gain the tools to determine which style of yoga is appropriate for each student and adapt their teaching style accordingly.
