Safe adjustments are a fundamental part of creating an exceptional yoga class, and an understanding of how the body works and common alignment issues is invaluable for every yoga student. The intensive course of Art of Adjustment enables participants to get more engaged with asana adjustments, vocal cues and how to identify individual body types in a wide variety of Asanas?
In this course, a variety of techniques and Asanas are covered and practiced. We believe that student will definitely benefits from the practices and gain confidence to adjust skillfully and safely. The best adjustments through Ashtanga style of Yoga take place on a physical, mental and energetic level. We will be discussing common alignment issues and effective vocal cues to approach the students.
Participates need to experience the dynamics of each Asana, an intuitive understanding of the body. It’s indeed important to spend time in observing and exploring different body types and how they react on certain Asana & postures. We are very much concern about the risks of potential injury throughout the body alignment session. We look for the restriction within the student’s body to see the way to continue with each posture.
This is a hands-on course, with such mode students gain the rare opportunity to receive personal feedback from fellow participants teachers. This is vital in gaining understanding of the mechanics of the body and which adjustment is appropriate for each student.
