Multi Style Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh India
RYS 200 – Jivan Chakra Foundation, Rishikesh, offers 200 hour multi style yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, registered with the Yoga Alliance, USA.
Our multi-style TTC course offers the perfect way to broaden your practice by studying both Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. Explore which type of yoga resonates most with your natural teaching style, and experience how the different practices work in harmony with your body and mind.
Hatha Yoga is the practice which encourages work with posture, breath, and cleansing practices to prepare the body for meditation. A Hatha Yoga class includes joint mobility exercises, and a variety of non strenuous asanas that are held for an extended period of time whilst practicing deep breathing techniques.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga designed to purify and strengthen the body in preparation for meditation. The fundamental aspects of Ashtanga Vinyasa include focus on movement in harmony with the breath, activation of bandhas (engagement of energy ‘locks’ within the body) and the drishti (eye gazing point).
This course focuses on the Primary Series, which works to heal, align and detoxify the body. The Primary Series builds a foundational level of strength and flexibility in preparation for the following sequences in the Ashtanga system.
200 hour Yoga TTC in Rishikesh India
Combining the dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa with a more gentle Hatha practice to create a perfect balance on the Jivan Chakra multi-style teacher training course.
Our Teacher Training approaches yoga traditionally as described in the ancient text the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. A holistic approach is fully emphasised, giving attention to asana, kriyas (cleansing practices), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, philosophy, alignment and adjustment. You will practice and experience the physical and spiritual teachings of this ancient system of Yoga with emphasis on awareness, breath, and ways in which to bring this practice and philosophy into your daily life.
The 200 hour Multi Style Teacher training course includes the practice and study of a variety of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Primary Series Asanas along with a variety of traditional Hatha Yoga poses. It is said that the best way to teach is from your own experience, and this course will give you a true understanding of how each of these two systems of yoga impacts your mind, body and spirit.
The Jivan Chakra 200 hour multi-style teacher training course prepares participants with the tools and confidence necessary to teach and inspire their students. Participants will gain the tools to determine which style of yoga is appropriate for each student and adapt their teaching style accordingly.
