this standing pose challenges your balancing skill and triggers concentration. While you are performing it, you stand on the right leg, which is slightly bended and wrap around your left leg. At the same time bend your elbows at 90degrees and wrap around your right hand over the left in front of your chest.
If the pose performed well, then it mobilizes and stretches the main joints ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows. Also gives a gentle stretch to your thighs and upper back.
The asana should be avoided in case you recently had ankle, knee or elbow injury.
